Our Emergency Preparedness Team invited Red Cross Instructor Erin Huey to conduct a class in preparing your home for an emergency. It was an eye-opener, to say the least ... the two classes, morning and afternoon, started inside, but Erin soon took everyone on a tour of Susan's house - where's the water shut off, the gas shut off, where would you "build" a tent if you couldn't sleep indoors, what supplies and equipment should we have - all the things we need to prepare for The Big One. Erin was so thorough that Susan truly wished she had volunteered Stacy's home for the class instead of her own!
